AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

...What type of files or format is allowed for up loading/sharing? It won't let me upload a .xls or .doc file.

.doc and .xls files aren't allowed as attachments. It is too easy to have a virus embedded and execute in MS office files because of their macro engine. I have no doubt that your file would be clean, but it is fairly easy to infect a bunch of people with a virus unknowingly by distributing such a file on a forum.

If you want to share an document created in word or excel, I'd suggest either using Google Docs or attaching the file to a PDF and uploading the PDF.
