High negative slopes on new iAero

Post by dtrousdale »

I rode out to my usual spot for performing coast-downs and 4-mile with my new iAero on which I had completed all the usual basic calibration tasks. On my way, I switched to the Enviro screen and noticed extremely high negative slope values, like -99.0% that would occasionally go down to something more believable. Needless to say, I did not complete my CDs. I also noticed after the ride that, unlike my old iBike Pro, when I hold the unit in my hand, slope seems stuck at -00.0% when I tilt it a little bit or a lot.

I tried uploading two sample ride file--the ride out to my CD spot and the ride back--but was told that .csv files were not allowed, so I'll send them to you separately.

One more thing: despite the fact that I configured the new iAero beforehand with the current time and date, it recorded the rides as 12/31/1903 at 4 pm in both iBike 2 and the ride file names. Why would it do that?
