AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

Hi a few weeks ago i was caught up in a heavy downpour mid ride the ibike held fine up until a few days ago when i was about to go out for a ride, the Ibike said "bad batt" i still proceeded to ride and noticed that no data on speed cadence or heart rate so i thought maybe it was just the battery. This morning as i replaced the battery on the Ipro and the wireless mount i was shocked to see that there is moisture and rust on the battery and the (neg) terminal inside the compartment of the wireless mount. i cleaned it and blow dried it but when i replaced new batteries and set-up to do the scan it read WLS FAiL, has anybody experienced this? Is my wireless mount toast?

Sounds like it is toast.

Im not sure if this is an abnormal incident, now i have to spend another $100 for a wireless mount that could go bad because of moisture doesn't sound very assuring.
