WATTS HALVE ON RETURN JOURNEY

Post by JOHN WALKER »

Is this normal: out and back same route. All measurements metric

OUT BACK
Av power 191 85
Av Elevation 17 17
Av Speed 24.3 23.3
Av Wind 34.2 13.5
Av H/R 138 141
TSS 258 74
Climbing 279 294
Distance 51.9 51.9

The figures that hit me in the face are Power, Wind & TSS
Might this have something to do with the wind being down on the return leg, that has
affected Power and TSS?

Sounds perfect. Wind is a HUGE factor. My ride today on a short out/back was 153w out 112w back. Yet the back was faster.
