Hi -

I've been searching around for this answer. Maybe someone here knows...

iBike software vers 4.0.4. I see a "Gravity" reading of "-1268" - that's minus 1_2_6_8. It seems high (low). What is that indicating?

I guess what I really don't know is what "Gravity" readings represent and what is it telling me.

I'd appreciate some insight.

H

Gravity is the watts used to fight when you work against gravity (that is, you climb a hill), or the watts that gravity assists you with when descending a hill. When descending a hill at high speed, gravity is providing you the equivalent of 1268W. That is, this is the amount of power you would need to apply on a level road, to travel at your current speed.
