Hi,
I went to ibikesports.com to see what it would mention what I would need to use my ibike as a head unit for a powertap hub, that I have yet to purchase. No luck! Will a wired mount work, or will I have to buy a wireless mount? Will I have to upgrade the firmware? Anything else? Thanks!

Hi
Only the iBike Aero will work with ANT+ Direct force power meters, eg powertap, quark, SRM. ANT+ is a wireless protocol and therefore you need one of the wireless mounts. If you purchased a Wireless iBike Pro you could update the firmware to make it an iAero. You could also look at the iBike Dash + Power if you were interested in using an iPod, as this also support ANT+ Powermeters.
Cheers
