I read in the latest doco or Firmware release notes that if we can supply a DFPM based ride file from an indoor trainer, the guys ar Velocomp can create a Profile for that model of trainer. I currently have powertap on loan and an unsupport Cycleops Fluid I trainer, what is the best ride protocol to follow, eg 1 minute 10km\h, 1 minute 15km\h .... 1 minute 40km\h or power interals, eg 150w, 175w, 200w ... 400w, 425w ?

You can actually do this yourself in the latest version of iBike3 and there is a help button in iBike3 to show you the protocol to use.
- Download and install iBike3: http://www.ibikesports.com/downloads.html.
Select "Device -> Edit Trainer Settings...
Select the Coefficients tab
Click the "?" button to get instructions
After you have the PowerTap file, click the "Fit to DFPM Ride File..." button
There is also the option of submitting the results to us (Velocomp) for inclusion in the next list of trainers, which you can get online now.
