Problems with latest firmware

Post by theredmiata »

Hello,

With the last 3.x firmware, I had zero issues, everything was hunky dory. However, the first 4.x firmware and the latest 4.x firmware, I've had 2 consistent issues. First one deals with the auto-hill function. In the 3.x firmware, with the auto-hill function enabled, my iBike would switch between speed and incline during the ride. Now with the 4.x firmware, the display does not switch between speed and incline anymore, it just stays on one or the other depending what button I just pushed. Second issue deals with the start up. After pressing starting up the iBike ( completing the auto start, recognizing the speed/cad sensors) it takes about 5 minutes before the iBike starts showing power, even though speed and cadence are positive. What can I do to get this resovled?

Regards,

Ian

For the not showing power issue, it sounds as if your tilt is off (which takes 5 minutes for the auto correct to kick in). One of these days before you ride, do a tilt calibration in your garage or driveway and then you should be reading correct tilt from the door. I usually do a tilt calibration a couple times a month.
