I had to alter the position of my iBike on my bike, so obviously the tilt is now different. To get proper power readings I have to recalibrate the tilt before each ride because the tilt in my profile is no longer correct. Do I have to re-do my coast downs and 4-mile to correct this, or can I somehow correct the tilt in the profile that I already have?
Thanks in advance.

The new tilt angle of the iBike will cause some difference in the WindScaling parameter. How much depends mostly on the amount of the tilt and where it is now in your airstream. A new calibration set would be best, but you can try going with the old profile to see how well it works. If you find problems with your wind data on a consistent basis, you'll know it's time to redo the cal ride.mccork wrote:I had to alter the position of my iBike on my bike, so obviously the tilt is now different. Under the advanced profile settings I think you can press a button "Get from iBike" to get the current Tilt Calibration number, then accept the change and your profile now has the new tilt... I think.mccork wrote:I had to alter the position of my iBike on my bike, so obviously the tilt is now different. IMO, if you have to physically move the mount, you need to redo your tilt, wind, and do some CD's and an o & b. It's just the best option for solid data.

Yes, that will get your nominal tilt calibration into your iBike2 profile. Whenever you send the profile to the unit, it's tilt cal will already be close; however, that does not do away with the need to check your tilt calibration daily.mlennox wrote:Under the advanced profile settings I think you can press a button "Get from iBike" to get the current Tilt Calibration number, then accept the change and your profile now has the new tilt...
