NOTE: IF YOU LAUNCH ISAAC/MAC ON YOUR M1 MAC OR INTEL MAC RUNNING Big Sur, AND ISAAC CRASHES, FOLLOW THIS LINK TO GET ISAAC/MAC WORKING:

If you have a bunch of old ride files, and a new M1 Mac which has never had Isaac/Mac installed on it, you can install Isaac/Mac on your new M1 Mac and view your ride files on your M1 Mac.

This workaround also is compatible with Intel Macs running Big Sur, where Isaac has never been installed.

Please note that, on an M1 Mac, ISAAC/MAC DOES NOT ALLOW DOWNLOAD OF NEW RIDE FILES, AND DOES NOT ALLOW FIRMWARE UPLOADS TO YOUR DEVICE.

Furthermore, Isaac/Windows running through a Virtual Machine does not work on M1 Macs.

These limitations are due to changes made by Apple, and old software from National Instruments that has not yet been updated by NI.

Here is how to get a partial install of Isaac/Mac on your M1 Mac:

1) Unzip and install the LabView file, attached

2) Unzip and install Isaac/Mac, attached

3) Launch Isaac/Mac. If you get a message saying to install Rosetta, do so (Apple link)

4) After this software is installed you will be able to launch Isaac/Mac
