copy profiles

Post by doib »

Hello John,
I changed the road bike tires to 28mm models (before they were 25). In order not to re-calibrate, I tried to save the existing profile with a new name and change only the tire section and weight of the bike. The only possibility to do this seems to be to copy the file and modify it, but when I try the mask that I attach appears. I think I could enter any values and then modify them, but I wonder if I am doing the right thing. It seems to me that before it was possible to simply save the profiles with a different name. Or maybe it is better to re-calibrate and create a completely new profile? I am using the new firmware 8.02.
Thank you

A simple trick to use is to change Fric by .001. This will have zero effect on results, but will allow you to copy the profile, because it is no longer perfectly identical to the original one.
