Issac crashes with GPS merge

Post by keithegiles »

I am running windows 10 on a brand new dell xps 13. I installed Issac for Windows 4.1.1. I have a brand new Zuuum newton that has the most "up-to-date" firmware (although I can read of more recent versions, the software keeps telling me I have the most up-to-date, maybe Zuuum can't handle anything beyond where it is).
All the data analysis works fine until I try to merge with an existing GPS file. I've tried both the .FIT file from my forerunner 10, or a GPX file that was converted via strava from that original .FIT file. In both cases the merge seems to be going ok. I can see the merged data and a loop that looks like the shape of my route appear in a window within Issac. Then a window pops up asking if I'd like to view the ride in google earth. After I make a selection at that point the whole computer crashes within about 10 seconds. Its the blue screen of death each time. This forum isn't letting me attach a .fit
