AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

I could not figure out how to correct for atmospheric pressure.

In the UI it has me search, I get the wunderground page for my local weather. But the instructions say to "look in the address text". Can you be more specific? Do you mean the resulting URL in the browser? Or something else?

In Isaac, go to "Analyze/Analyze Newton Settings..."

There, you can adjust starting elevation to the correct number. Though elevation is always the same, the barometric pressure associated with it is dependent on weather.

Sorry, wasn't talking about elevation correction...

I did a long ride, and we were pretty sure a low pressure system was moving in.

So, I wanted to use the tools -> Repair -> set Atmospheric Pressure to adjust the barometric pressure reading recorded on the device with what was recorded at local weather stations.

Well, the truth is that I don't know how to do this one myself!

Travis, our software guru, invented this. I suppose that if you get the starting baro pressure correct then elevation will correct itself appropriately.

Yea, I'm pretty sure I've used it in the past, someone asked me for corrected elevation data (figured iBike would be better than overage Garmin in that respect).

I think the idea is that is figures out how weather related barometric pressure changes during the course of your ride, and adjusts the measured values accordingly.
