AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

I raced today in two different races and I did a trip reset in between each warm-up and each race. When I went to download my iBike Newton+ data into the software, it showed a total of 5 rides which was correct. As I always do, I selected to download and erase. Unfortunately, the software only downloaded the first 3 rides and did not save the last two, but did delete everything. Is there any way to recover these lost rides? Also, is there a maximum trip reset for one day that I should be aware of?

Okay, I found the rides saved with the date of June 5, 2012 instead of today. I'm very glad they weren't lost, but I'm not sure why the date changed.
