Today I did coastdown and calibration rides for both my Gen II iAero and my upgrade Gen III iAero (both first time with the wireless mount that I purchased over the winter). Other than naming the rides to distinguish which generation they apply to, is there anything more I need to do in iBike3 to ensure that I'm able to load the appropriate profiles to each version? Specifically, I see an iBike3 software menu item, "Device-Connect...," which seems to produce the same data for the user as, "Device-S/N and Firmware Version..." When you're going back and forth between Gen IIs and IIIs, you don't need to "Device-Connect" to ensure that the software knows which device is on the USB cable, do you?
Also, just curious. Did I duplicate work by doing separate coastdowns for each unit or would it have been possible to use the initial set of coastdowns for both units (same mount used for both)?
