AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

I used my iAero III for the first time today in the rain, more than a light rain at times. The unit didn’t perform too well and started to give crazy numbers. I tried changing the battery during the ride but the unit would not come on after doing so.

I am back home and the unit is dry and I have change the battery several times with brand new batteries but the unit still doesn’t come on. However, it does power on when connected to the computer but as soon as I disconnect it from the computer it powers off.

Any suggestions as to what may be wrong?

Turns out it I have a bad batch of batteries. I tried 5 or 6 batteries out of one 20 pack but none worked, I then opened another 20 pack and one battery from there worked.
