Calibration ride with GenIII in Issac

I just did a calibration ride, went to Issac, Device, Setup, Download calibration ride

Issac loaded up my calibration ride fine, but then I got stuck at the DFPM section. Is this a mandatory part of the Out and Back calibration ride? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks
Thomas

Do you have a DFPM on your bike?

Please post the .ibr cal ride file.

Attached is my calibration ride for the iAero. I had a DFPM, but I didnt pair it with the iAero.

Does it somehow know?

Thanks

Your ride file shows that your device has been paired to a DFPM (there is a non-zero number in the DFPM wireless ID).

Do a new pairing, making 100% sure your DFPM is off.

Other than that your cal ride looks fine.

Is there a way I can edit the calibration file? So that I don't have to redo it again, and spend the weekend riding instead.

You don't have to do a new calibration ride. All you have to do is a new sensor pairing (press-hold top and bottom buttons simultaneously). Make sure your DFPM is off. Once the new pairing is done your Gen III will transmit its power numbers (assuming your DFPM was off during pairing). None of your profile settings will be affected.

Hi John
I thought that I had to process the calibration ride in Issac to obtain the calibrated profile.

Once I complete the calibration ride, does that profile automatically replace the existing one? So it would be a case of extract from device to obtain the profile in Issac?

I had made sure to click on forget DFPM on the edit profile screen.

Managed to do another calibration ride today, I went to Device, Setup, Download calibration ride. And I got the screen again which assumes I have a DFPM attached, and the calculate button is greyed out.

I did however observe that windscaling field was populated.

Please do as I have requested. Do NOT do a new calibration, do NOT reprocess things in Isaac. Just do a new sensor pairing.

Hi John
I did a new sensor pairing.

Should Issac now be able to process the calibration ride?

I tried going to Issac again, but I still get stuck on the DFPM section.

Hi there, something went wrong during my ride. Everything was just going swell, then this happened.

No power on the home stretch.

File attached.

Help please, time to move on from the iAero?

Unless you were riding in the rain, then something is wrong with your wind sensor.

If you decide to get a PowerPod or AeroPod, make sure you take advantage of the trade in offer.

Your iAero has gotten good use; it's over 9 years old! I think you will be amazed by all the improvements since then ;)
