Watts Show Zero, Altimeter Won't Accept Edit

Post by dmos17 »

Hello. I'm the excited owner of an iPro with wireless mount and Garmin GSC10 speed/cadence sensor, but I've experienced issues since purchase (2 weeks ago).

Issues
1) Watts never display anything other than 0
2) Altimeter reads 28473 ft and won't accept edits (I live in Florida, at sea level)
3) iPro won't accept changes made to settings in iBike for Windows 6.1.1 (turning Trainer option off; manual altimeter correction)
4) Combined speed/cadence sensor (Garmin) is initially detected by iPro, and then registers "Spd Fail" in first 5 minutes of ride

What I have tried so far over the course of 2 weeks:
1) Changed all batteries (twice) in wireless mount, iPro, and Garmin GSC10 speed/cadence sensor
2) Fast Start twice; tilt calibration 8 times; calibration ride 3 times (will not register/display data beyond zero)
3) Attempted manual edit of altimeter 8 times, hitting center button when complete, only to see 28400+ ft when flipping back to alt
4) After making settings/profile changes in iBike for Windows with iPro connected via USB connection (program reads connected to iBike), no changes are reflected in iPro despite Windows program stating, "Profile sent"

I'm sure there is a step or action I am missing that would fix everything, but I'm simply not seeing it on my own. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like the Baro Sensor may be faulty. Did you purchase the unit directly?

I purchased the unit online. Should I return it or would there be another means of action?
