Is it possible?
I use the Ibike on two bikes, but would like to be able to use it on a third. I have the wireless mount but do not have a third Garmin sensor. I do have the original iBike sensors that came with the first mount I bought.
Can I use those original sensors with my Garmin enabled head unit and, if so, how?
Using Garmin and Ibike sensors with same unit
Re: Using Garmin and Ibike sensors with same unit
If I understand correctly, you have two bikes that have Garmin sensors and one that you would have to use the original iBike sensors.
Assuming you don't need the Garmin unit to see the iBike sensors, you can do it.
Just setup a third profile and scan for the sensors making sure you're away from the other bikes. It should look for a Garmin sensor and not seeing one then look for the iBike sensors. If you have a Gen 3 with the latest firmware just hold the up and down arrows at the same time to enter scan mode.
Once you capture the ids use iB3 software to extract this profile and save it in the computer.
