iAero Files not recognised

Post by Morocco Mole »

Hi

I upgraded my Gen III to an iAero and can now use it with a DFPM (powertap). When downloading the ride files the iBike 3 software does not recognise the files as being from an iAero so the features menu is disabled. John has provided a workaround to make the files recognised as iAero until the next version of software is released. I am also having problems getting the 4 Mile CAL ride being recognised properly as an iAero file, as the calculate button is disabled. Is there a way I can get the CAL file recoginised properly in iBike 3 so I can generate a profile based on my DPFM?

Thanks

I can do that for you until the new feature is made. Just send me your cal ride (ibcd4m file) to boyd (at) totalcyclist dot com and I will look at it for you.

Please send me your serial number. We have a workaround for your and other iPro to iAero upgraders.

Thanks Boyd , have sent you the file. I also found that I could tweak the CDA in my existing profile until the Watts and PowerMeter Comparision was very close. Subsequent rides using the new profile have also matched up very well to the DFPM, will be interesed to see how the calculated profile compares. Thanks
