Gen III not recording
Gen III not recording
My Gen III isnt recording all of a sudden. At the end of the ride all the numbers are there but when I go to download the data the Ibike software reads 0% memory full and no rides are present in memory.
Re: Gen III not recording
Wired? Wireless? Are you getting info while riding? Did you do a battery reset?

Re: Gen III not recording
Does your iBike also read 0% full in the totals screen?
A hard reset of the iBike should fix things. If, in fact, data was recorded on your ride the hard reset may also make it possible to recover the ride data.

Re: Gen III not recording
I had this problem a while back but installing the most recent firmware at the time fixed it (plus I did a hard reset also).Brodirt wrote:My Gen III isnt recording all of a sudden. Wireless.
I did hard reset and no luck.
I installed new firmware and it solved the problem.
Interestingly though, it appears that at the same time my profiles were erased and the trainer profile reset. I thought it was me overtrained too! When I installed the new firmware I noticed the trainer issue and fixed it. But this weekend, while on the road, I tried to set up a new profile and nothing was recorded at all. On the same ride the ibike kept losing its connection to the Garmin sensor I use. The ride list after that ride showed up as about 20 rides of 0 miles with no info in them. Yet all the ride data was available on the head unit.
I'm hoping the firmware fixes things...but my profiles are still gone.
