Trainer unlock for Gen3 upgrade

When I upgraded from Gen1 to Gen3, I assumed that my trainer feature I already paid for once with my Gen1 would carry over to my new Gen3 - but apparently not! Is it the case that one has to pay for the trainer unlock all over again?(!) If so, this would seem fairly punitive for a very small bit of code... Can anyone give me advice on this, please.

I am sure if you email John Hamann that he will straighten you out.
use jhamann <at> velocomp.com but replace <at> with @ (protection against spam email address harvesters).

The trainer feature already IS unlocked with firmware 3.09 for Gen3. You might be getting problems trying to upload a different key, though.

If you upgraded to a Gen III iPro then your trainer key needs to be unlocked. email me and I will get you going.
