open fit test file?

Post by R Mc »

That's my question: is it possible to open the ride file upon which the fit test is based? I looked around a little bit, then gave up.

It should be there; what version of firmware are you using?

Hi John,

I have firmware version 3.01...I have also not been able to see any evidence of the fit tests upon download...everything is great when doing the fit test on the road or trainer, but I can't find any trace of it once I download the data.

We are currently on firmware 3.06. In this firmware the fitness test shows up on the ride file (even as a lap so you can look at the numbers for just the fitness test).

Firmware 3.07 is due to be released fairly soon and will have everything in 3.06 PLUS the new intervals and TSS, NP, and IF being discussed in the New Goodies thread.

If you need 3.06 there are some VERY specific instructions to installing it because it involves a wind offset equation. I believe John can email it directly to you, or I should be able to as well. Just send me a PM on here.
