In Isaac there is an option under Analyse to Check Calibration Using Out & Back Ride and this will give revised figures based on the latest ride compared with those held under the bike profile. These revised figures can then be sent to the device and stored as an update profile.
Is there a similar option in Velocomp Aero and if so how do I access it?
Thanks.
Check calibration
Re: Check calibration
Yes, there is a similar option:
1) Open your ride in VA.
2) To the left of the graphs, click on the Laps tab. Underneath you will see a list of the laps for your ride. In this example there is only one lap, which covers the entire ride.
3) Click on the lap(s) you wish to analyze. If it's more than one lap, hold down the Option key to select multiple laps. The lap(s) you select will be highlighted in blue, with white type:
4) with your mouse positioned over one of the laps, right click. You will see a context menu appear that will allow you to adjust wind scaling, or analyze the laps selected:
5) Click on your selection (in this example I selected "check device calibration"); this graph will appear
6) To accept the changes click "Accept"
7) After you Accept the results, go to Edit Profiles and select "Extract From Ride File" to get the corrected profile, and then use "Send To Device" to load it into your unit.
Alternatively, if your device is connected while the "Check Device Calibration" dialog is open (step 6), you can use the SEND TO DEVICE button at the bottom to update the device.

Re: Check calibration
Thanks for the reply John.
As with any new software it takes a while to get used to the new layout, new features and ones that have been dropped.
In Isaac I liked the bottom left corner of the main screen showing Laps, Peaks and GPS.
I can see that the Peaks info is available by hovering over the Peaks graph but is there a way to view them as a list as in Isaac?
If not then could this be an added feature in future releases?
Thanks

Definitely something we can add, yes.I can see that the Peaks info is available by hovering over the Peaks graph but is there a way to view them as a list as in Isaac?

Re: Check calibration
We've added a list version in the latest version of VA. In the Peaks tab, click on the yellow triangle at the top of the graph to reveal the numbers:flysplat wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 6:09 am Thanks for the reply John.
