Re: Multibike & "best" cal
The 4th question i missed on getting back to you was this. Twice now i have done a commute to work and back. On the out leg everything was good. On the back leg i woke the sensor, it paired immediately to solid green, but on your app screen on my garmin that shows slope & wind everything was a d...

Re: Multibike & "best" cal
One last question (hopefully). if i take one of my rides with bike 1 data and use the "switch after ride profile", to my other bikes, i see average watts change from 123 to 134 to 147 between the three bikes for the same ride. Would you really expect a 15% difference especially for a coupl...

Re: Multibike & "best" cal
Thanks So the better and best ride options is now no different than the 0 to 100 out and back and their is only one option? Is the better/best present in the software because older units can make use of it? Any info anywhere on what bits of the software are powerpod only..... Perhaps once it knows w...

Multibike & "best" cal
I sent this by email but no reply so perhaps blocked due to attachments: Hi You sent me a tweaked file for my first bike and when plugged into my rides makes sense. I have now changed to another two bike, never paired with powerpod with separate sensors. I inputted the profile details in each and se...

Re: Wind, rain, & power
Thanks Still having a few problems (maybe), now everything is dried out & clean I started a ride today and after a short rise over the next 3km drops ~45m in elevation. Despite pedalling at a constant cadence around 70rpm, unit was displaying zero watts. Is it expected that I should be seeing ze...

Wind, rain, & power
I went for a ride up the local mountain today and half way up encountered low cloud that was very wet. Powerpod was ok. After the descent i was getting ok readings on any positive gradient, but on the flat or anything negative was getting zero power, or just a few seconds of data even when pedalling...

Re: Analyze Wind?
So when drafting and the wind effect comparison is used, and shows (say) net minus 25, it doesn't mean a 25 kph tailwind, it means the bike has an effective net benefit equivalent to 25kph tailwind.
I guess I wanted to know how to read that wind effect comparison correctily

Re: Effort animation
The graphical line plot shows speed in kph but the animation bars on the right are showing different numbers at same point. E. G. Line graph at 40kph is showing 28 kph on bar display at side, the values don't match as if kph is being converted to mph even though metric is selected

Effort animation
Why does the effort animation not track the same value while animating as the speed shows on the graph, e.g. riding at 40-45kph on graph reads 28-30kph on the animation bar for road speed, all rides show the same difference.

Re: Analyze Wind?
Here is the file, have a look at 24 to 39 minutes, this was riding north west into a north/north west 5-8kph wind.

Calibration - half way
Hi No matter how hard i try to stop a calibration ride at 50, i always get a jump to say 52 or 53, even if i stop hard at 48, I do see perhaps 3-4 seconds of random power readings at 52 after turning around, then it continues to count up from 53 to 100. I never see the red halfway red light. Everyth...

Re: Analyze Wind?
Hi I have another question about wind. I get wheel speed - wind = ground wind, the question I have is , for example, today was riding into a gentle (5kph) wind yet the software says it was a tailwind, and picked up a peleton at around 40kph. As expected the software determines i was drafting, and th...
