Re: Announcing our new wireless rechargeable mount

Fantastic!! You cannot believe how much this is going to help out over here in Chicago! Quick question on mounting. I noticed in the picture the wind port of the iBike is just behind the front of the handlebar and mounting instructions indicate for the wind port to be just in front of the handlebar....

Combined Cadence/Speed Sensor (wireless)

Does the iBike Combined Cadence/Speed Sensor (wireless) require that we have the GT Firmware Upgrade or is that only necessary when pairing with Garmin equipment?

Re: Analyze Profile

Also, how do i select a 4 mile instead of the default 2 mile calibration ride. Is it as easy as just doing the calibration ride twice?

Thanks

Analyze Profile

Can someone take a look at this calibration file. Read a couple of topics about analyzing the calibration rides but thought it best to leave to the experts until the "Guide" is released. Take into consideration that it was really windy in Chicago today. Not sure how that will affect everyt...

Re: Wireless Fail

Update:

Unwilling to give up, I did a hard reset just on the mount this morning. After an hour commute, no problems. Thanks for the quick response John.

Wireless Fail

IBike Pro has worked flawlessly for past 5 months. Just Monday, I started getting Cadence Fail. I replaced Battery on Wireless Unit, Cadence and Speed sensors, the Head Unit battery was 290 on Monday. IBike will work for about 15 minutes and the wireless will fail. This happened Monday, Tuesday and ...

Does this look right.

I was reading the directions for setup and stated that the wind port should be placed just behind the front edge of the stem. Does this look ok as far as position goes?

Feature request

John,
Would it be possible to get the cadence to show whilst in "fitness / user created interval workouts"? Currently it only shows target watt's, current watt's, interval, time remaining / heart rate. I like to hit certain RPM's for various interval sets.

iSport & Coast Downs

Did a couple of searches but couldn't find a direct answer. I am still a little confused about coast downs. How many coast downs are recommended to get accurate information? Does the software average it out if you do 10 coast downs? Also, I am not sure if the iSport would be able to store those coas...

Training Schedule

I was wondering if someone (Coach Boyd?), could advise on a traning schedule based on the pre-programmed intervals? For instance:
  • Monday - Strength
    Tuesday - Fat
    Wednesday - Cardio
    Thursday - Rest
    Friday - Strength
Your input is greatly appreciated.

Re: iSport - GenIII

I tested the change in temperature variation this morning. I had the iBike in our house over night. When i left this morning (6:30 a.m.) it was about 28 deg F, I had yet not acclimated the iBike to the temperature change and the Watts read 0. After riding for appoximately 15 minutes I stopped and pe...

What do these numbers mean?

When scrolling through the "total" button, these two sets of information came accross the screen:
1. CSt REro / 0_595
2. CSt Fric / 6_808

What do these numbers mean and do I need to pay attention to them?
Thanks

iSport - GenIII

It has taken me a while to setup, but the more I research topics in the forum and read about iBike in general, the more I feel better about my purchase (even though i only purchased the iSport). This topic is just to help me understand about calibrations and setup so my watts being shown are relativ...
