I have noticed that the file exported from Isaac 'for Strava', .csv format, does not include the temperature data. I tied exporting as TCX as well - no temp.
Also, is there not a way to directly transfer the data to Strava from Isaac, such is possible to Training Peaks?
Thanks

Re: Important firmware update--Dynamic rolling resistance
Thanks John for this upgrade - very significant. I have no idea how your did it, but it works perfectly. Yesterday's ride included new asphalt, chip-seal and rough broken pavement. Power displayed on the Newton 6 screen on the rough surfaces was so much more realistic than the past. The power trace ...

Re: Newton 6 frozen - no hard reset
Thanks John,
I did discovered that it was only the Newton system time that was set to a default, my jumping to a conclusion.
Any comment on the error code and freeze. Are they related or just random co-incidence?

Re: Newton 6 frozen - no hard reset
I did manage to hard reset. After several tries with no success, I pushed ALL the buttons, out of frustration, and it did reset.
I wish there was a way to force re-boot without losing the preferences.

Newton 6 frozen - no hard reset
I had my Newton 6 froze after I saw an error alert (6004) on launch of Isaac 4.0.0 and FW update to 5.13 I can't hard reset (up, centre and down buttons). Suggestion? I've attached a screen shot of the error message. Mac OS10.12 Isaac 4.0.0 FW 5.13 (I can't wait to ride some chip seal. I've never sa...

Power way off
During today's ride power reading way off - too low. I suspected the inclination was off too. This is reflected in Isaac. I did a Cal Ride last week and tweaked a bit, tire diameter and bike weight, and uploaded to the Newton 6. Tried repairing the tilt of today's ride, but got a similar result. As ...

Exactly, I was riding with someone with a DFPM. Kinda creeped him out when I told him I knew how much power he was producing. Might become my secret weapon

DFPM readings when none attached
I was checking a ride file in Isaac and noticed the "View DFPM" button was available. What is curious is that during the ride I kept getting a DFPM failed noticed. I double checked that the DFPM was off in the setup, and it was off. I was riding with a friend who has a Vector2 PM. Just abo...

Re: Convert .fit files
No, no merging. I'd like to take a ride created in, say Zwift or TrainerRoad, downloaded as .fit files, and be able to study the files in Isaac.

Convert .fit files
Is there a way to convert to .ibr or otherwise open .fit files in Isaac? Issac has such superior data rendering and I would like to be able to analyze and drill down into the indoor training data in Isaac.
Thanks

Feature request: download stand-alone GPS from NT server
Is there a way that downloading the GPS data from NT? Or, is there a way of stripping the ride data from the GPS data in Isaac? It would be nice to be able to create a "route" to upload into a smart phone or GPS bike computer. Or simply upload the GPS file into Strava without the Newton da...

Feature request: elevation and gear selection
I have a request for two features that I think wouldn't be too difficult (said the luddite). 1: Before every ride it is possible to calibrate the starting elevation, very simply I may add. On some climbs, there are distance markers with elevation (which are surveyed elevations in Canada). At most su...

Re: Power zero over rough roads
I did reset the CdA to .339, but will use your number, .369. (77kg total weight, 68 kg, 175 cm tall, Continental 4000S tires, 7 bar rear, 6.5 bar front) Am I understanding you correctly John, the Newton is recording the watts correctly, just not displaying correctly? I had a note from Tom Gore to se...

Re: Power zero over rough roads
The mount is your problem. It is not stiff, so on rough roads the Newton vibrates and it gets confused. Now I'm confused. I thought you were right about the mount being the source of the issue of power drop-outs, but now I'm not so sure. Since the last post, I remounted the Newton onto a Dual Mount...

Power zero over rough roads
In the past I have noted on the forum that the power readings on rides occasionally drops to zero. I thought it was something with my speed/cadence module, but it isn't. I have noticed recently that the power drops to zero on rough surfaces, not chip and seal, but broken, patched surfaces (that's th...

Re: Power readings drop to zero
After installing a new battery in the Garmin GCS-10, that power is still dropping to zero.
I did notice that I still has speed indicated. If the Newton is provided a known speed, shouldn't the power be calculated and displayed?

My Garmin speed / cadence sensor had been knock just enough for the crankarm magnet to be marginally within range.

Re: Power readings drop to zero
Follow-up.
I didn't see all the GE trace, my bad.
You can see after I went around the corner, power dropped then picked up again..
I didn't stop hard pedaling until the top of the ride. That flat part of the power trace should not be flat.
