Sorry, we've been juggling lots of balls in the air...
This is on our radar screen, but there are a lot of things ahead of it. PowerStroke is really cool; if you want it and mapping features, then get a Newton PS, and use the Newton Tracker app on your iPhone.
You'll have it all, right now!

Re: Garmin FR70 HRM strap compatability
My 99%+ prediction is that this Garmin strap is ANT+ compatible. Why do I predict this? Because Garmin owns ANT+...
If the strap is ANT+ compatible, it will work with the Newton.
I'm sure Garmin's site will confirm the ANT+ compatibility.

Re: displaying average and actual watts whilst riding
I ride with a Garmin Edge 500 alongside my ibike. What I really want is my ibike to display average watts and actual watts on same screen at same time without changing between screens. Is this possible ? Kevin This is possible by using the Trainer Mode/User Interval feature. You'll see average watt...

Pbar appears only in the Power screen. Unless you're riding the bike, at rest it will look like the photo below (one dot, and the number 100 on the right, in the middle window)

Agreed, there is nothing unusual about your mount.
I've had two mounts on my bike (one handlebar, one stem) for two years. No problems (except the rusting bolts, which we have corrected).

Re: Newton Tracker comments and response
one question regarding the GPS track you can see when you merge the tracker file to the Isaac software file. This is a fairly rudimentary track but if in some way it could be a window/ pop up that might be a cool option for looking at data on isaac and relating it to a specific point on the route? ...

Re: I keep breaking Newton mounts
It does sound as if they are too tight, but please post a photo of your handlebars/stem where you are attaching the mount.
Please return your mount to us and we will replace under warranty.
Zip ties aren't a good idea; they won't hold the mount securely.

It seems likely you are seeing the graphical images in the Stats box. If so TSS, NP and IF aren't shown. If this is what you are seeing, right-click on the stats box, and select "Advanced Stats". The window will change to numbers, and NP, TSS and VI will be reported as you desire. Training...

There should be no problem, but if you want simply use a Dust Off air canister to blow the dust out of the port. There is a membrane in the port that keeps dust from impinging the wind sensor.

Re: Y-axis scaling in Issac is absurdly implemented
Rather than being snarky about what you see is a glaring deficiency, I'd suggest that instead you ask if it is possible to change Y axis scaling. In fact, it is... Just click on the limits of the axis you'd like to change, type in the desired limit, hit "Enter", and it will do just what yo...
