Re: Tilt Calibration/Cal Ride-Coast Down Data

I think that you will be fine just re-doing the tilt cal as long as your position doesn't change to much. It all depends on how accurate you want your information to be. Sometimes changing your hand position may perk your chest up a bit more on the bike, thus increasing resistance... I race, so pers...

Re: fix bad data

Hello,
I tweaked your file a bit. It looks like your friction #'s were way off. Tell me if this looks a bit more reasonable...

Re: Struggling with ibike for TTing

The best way I can explain the tilt to you all is basically, the calibration teaches the unit what "level" is on the bike, as often the unit will appear to be at an angle when mounted, it will know that the bike is level. Hope that this helps.

Re: SPD fail

Yes,Wake the sensors by waving a magnet in front of them. press the "up" and "down" arrows simultaneously until it says scan and allow it to do so. Unit does not need to be in setup mode to do this function. Be careful that there are no other wireless sensors nearby, or the unit ...

Re: SPD fail

Hello,
with the older iBike Sensors, when you replace the batteries, you will have to re-pair the sensors to the iBike unit itself. I recommend replacing all the batteries, including cadence also, and then re-pairing the sensors to the unit. Try that, and I think you will have success.

Re: Heart rate strap water proof?

I have used my strap several times during the swim portion of the race. I believe is is water resistant to 1m... Which is in excess of 3ft. It sounds shallow, but most races are a beach start, so you tend to stay pretty shallow anyway.

Re: Formal Introduction

actually just aquired a Quarq to pair up with my iAero... I ride 55-42 front chairings though, so have to get unit recalibrated. I am working on this issue now, as there is a new device and an iPhone app to do so without having to send the unit out. I will keep you posted.
