These calibrations work only with the + Power. If you own an iBike Dash CC or Deluxe, these do not apply.

Re: iBike Aero III w/Garmin speed cadence sensor issue
If it shows calories that means the cadence sensor isn't registering anything. Make sure your cadence magnet is passing close to the speed/cadence sensor. If you wave a magnet past the cadence sensor and the sensor is working, Cal will covert over to RPM.

Re: Newbie question- Which App do I need?
Either app works with your new iDash CC. You can install both of them on your iPhone/iPod touch at the same time. The iBike Coach app is designed to be simple, very easy to use, and fun. It looks great and has some nice features, among which are estimated calories, iPod control, and updated videos f...

Re: Not recording ride!
If your screen is blank try swiping to a different screen and swipe back and you should be able to see your readings.
If that doesn't work then remove your iPhone, reinsert it and relaunch the app.

Re: Editing Profiles for Dummies
Some time in the next few days we will be releasing iBike 5.10. This includes a "setup wizard" that will help with initial setup.
When initial setup is done completely then iBike operation is excellent. The wizard's purpose is to make setup even easier, and profile editing unnecessary.

Re: Major iBike app update 1.0.6 now available
It is fixed. You should be able to change from english to metric units. If you're having problems after changing units try exiting the app, then relaunch. If that doesn't work then delete your existing iBike app and do a clean install of 1.0.6. You will have to go through a bike setup if you delete ...

Major iBike app update 1.0.6 now available
The new iBike 1.0.6 update adds two important features: 1) "Always On" data recording that keeps on-screen and ride file data up to date and accurate, even during periods when the iBike app is exited (phone call, change music, etc). Even when the iBike app is not running, the iBike electro...

The only thing that's important with the RWS is the Cal Ride. The Cal Ride figures out the calibration of your remote wind sensor. Coast downs are not necessary.

How it happens
Attached is a photo of the people who live in Florida who make and support the iBike Dash (and Gen III, too!). We took this photo (illegally) in front of our local Apple Store. These people have done an amazing job. We are not a faceless corporation, but real people who want to make every bike trip ...

Re: iBike Dash v iBbike Pro--Riding Time
I do not have this problem. I have a Gen III and iBike Dash mounted on my bike and use them together constantly. They both start and stop ride recording at the same time. There is a bug in the iDash that can affect ride time when the iBike app is exited. This has been corrected in an update just rel...

Re: Battery Options
Dynamos remind me of some of my riding as a kid, when there was a wheel generator that powered my flashlight. I hated that system, because it created so much drag on the bike... To do this you'd have to supply a constant 3.7 volts to the iDash circuit board. So, you would need an insertable fixture ...

We checked and, indeed, Apple does not allow for fancy adjustment of screen brightness. I agree that it is too bad.
We will ask them to add this feature, but they are huge and we are miniscule.
