Re: PP not reading speed sensor
Hello John. Did some testing this morning, removing all batts, checking 1 speed sensor at a time , all worked but the i I had issues with yesterday. So, I deleted the profile from Isaac, and reinstalled the backup profile, it works ! No Idea , how a profile can go faulty, just sitting in PP, or for ...

Winter Check, PP not recognizing Speed Sensor Post by Kcblair » Wed Feb 10, 2021 12:22 pm Hello John, Hope you all are staying safe down there. Was testing my equipment, Garman and PP , on one bike. Fresh battery in wheel sensor and Garmin reads the speed sensor, for some reason the PP does not. PP ...

School me in watts lost in Isaac.
I don't find much in the Isaac instructions, pertaining to the watts lost in my ride data. How do I use this info ? Or is this part of the Power Stroke software, which I don't have ?
Thank you, John.

How to enable sensor under Profile edit ?
Hello John, I use the same cadence and HR sensor on all bikes. After recalibration, , some profiles did not get the HR and/or HR sensor paired. So I added the ID and type, resent the profile to the PP. Is there a way to enable those sensors, without having to re-pair and cause a calibration ride ? I...

Re: Merging data PPv2 to PPv3
Just complete cal on 2nd bike, everything worked as described. First cal , wasn't sure about pushing button, and blinking light hard to see, compared to v2.
Now onto 3rd bike.
Third bike cal went to plan.
No. 4 & 5 for another day KB

Re: Merging data PPv2 to PPv3
OK, got some interesting results . Not sure about O&B ride. It started out yellow, then to red/green. Not sure if I saw the blinking yellow, as not sure about the function button. Push in or down front top. As I was riding to my start point, I noticed the power numbers going 1- up. Reached 50 an...

Thanks John, that's what I wanted to hear. At age 73, if it ain't easy, I'm out. Been riding for over 50 yrs. this power stuff is the coolest. Even installed the nifty Aeropod app. Now I've got more data, than a space shuttle to look at. Hope I don't end up in the gutter.

Re: Merging data PPv2 to PPv3
Okay, the Powerpodv3 just arrived, that was fast. I placed 1 PROFILE into the PP. Synched with sensors and Garmin. I get a solid yellow light, which means it needs a calibration ride. So far so good, but, it's raining, have to wait til tomorrow. Hopefully, I'm on the right course. When recal is comp...

Re: Merging data PPv2 to PPv3
From memory you just need to copy the profiles onto your PP3 from Issac. You will then need to do a calibration ride as I think the wind settings are slightly different in particular if you have a pitot tube fitted. In theory should also find sensors, as nothing has changed, if I copy those profile...

Re: Merging data PPv2 to PPv3
Thanks, I'm hoping it's that easy. Tom told me that the cda and wind sensor are different. And a new cal ride is needed , so in theory the recal ride should adjust those. KB

Hello John, Tom got to my broken PP v2. After a conversation, I discovered my circuit board was the current model . Tom offered to upgrade it to v3 and put it into a v3 shell. Re: Tilt calculation
A new cal ride will adjust the tilt calibration value. The easiest way to "set and forget" is to keep your unit attached between rides. What about us, that move the unit between 4 bikes, as the unit is designed to do ? When I switch between bikes, I try to level the PP , using bottom of t...

Re: My PP went crazy this morning.
When PP battery is low it will store ride files frequently, so that ride data won't be lost if the PP battery dies. This might have happened here... Make sure your battery is charged. Let me know if this happens again. Yesterday, same bike, only replaced speed sensor battery with standard. I had be...

Re: My PP went crazy this morning.
PP records in its ride file exactly what it transmits to your Garmin. If there are no dropouts in your ride file, then PP is operating correctly. It sure sounds like Garmin has an issue. Whether or not they have fixed it I have no clue. I counted 19 separate file files, in Isaac , before I turned o...
