Software to export to .csv
I now use a wired mount so can not use a heart rate monitor, but do have a Garmin Edge 705. does anyone know a software I can get that would import from thhe 705 or import the .tcx file, then export to a .csv file in 1 second increments like the iBike .csv so I can transpose the HR date over to the ...

Re: Calibrating Gen III
If you move the mount from bike to bike to do the calibrations you get the profiles for the 3 bikes, but here is my question you then move the mount back to one of the bikes what is the chances that the mount is in exactly the same spot? won't this affect riding tilt and wind offset?

A question on the external battery option
I have the iMount kit on my bike with an external battery. I have a couple questions. 1) In setup in battery mode does the value there include the external battery or just the cr2032 in the iBike? 2) Does the external battery help power the iBike or just the speed and cadence sensors and the cr2032 ...

A weight question
Sorry if this has been covered but I could not find a thread through searching. Say I weigh 160 lbs when I do my coast downs and cal ride, I then proceed to lose 10 lbs, can I just change my weight in the unit and profile and the unit will report the correct power, or do I need to do the coast downs...

Re: High power readings for first few minutes of riding
A question, I read somewhere on the forum that the Gen3 takes about 3-5 minutes into the ride to find its sweet spot. Is this true? If this is the case maybe this has a bit to do with the off numbers at the beginning.
Just a thought

creating a profile for my Gen3 iAero
I have a question on calibrating a Gen 3 iAero.
To create a profile, can I do the 4 mile cal ride, and record it with a non Ant+ power meter then sync the 2 in Ibike 3/profiles, and not do the coast downs? or do you need the coast downs also with this?
I do thank you for your help

Re: Help with data transfer to Cycling Peaks
To get the power to read when opening a .csv file you first need to open the .csv file in excel and change the column name DFPM Power to anything else, save it, close the file then open it up in wko+

Re: Gen III tilt tip
Does the tilt get associated with a specific profile on the iAero? You have the choice of either Profile 1 or 2. So if profile one is for one bike and profile 2 is for a second bike does the Tilt cal you do for profile 2 overwrite the tilt you did for Profile 1?

Re: Calibration Proceedure question
Cool will be more careful on the cals. Guess my main question lies in when does the all the values for the profile get figured, like cda, crr, friction, is that in the processing in iBike 3? And you get a good Tilt cal, then when you sit on the bike the ibike will tilt a hair forward or back, if it ...

Calibration Proceedure question
Got a question on getting my profile on my new iBike. I do a tilt Cal and wind offset (while off the bike). I then do a bunch of coast downs (while on the bike which inherently changes the tilt). I then do a 2 mile out and 2 mile back, which calculates the riding tilt and wind offset and such. This ...

Setting Elevation
I have a question. Depending on which software or which site I go to my starting elevation according to these sources can vary up to 100 ft. If I really do not care what elevation I am riding at can I just set my iBike to 0 ft and would it give me the same data as if I set it at 4500 ft in terms of ...

A question on tilt
I ride a recumbent so I can not see the iBike while I am riding. I have a good profile. If I do not care what the numbers read while I am riding, can I go out and ride without doing a Tilt Calibration and get good data when I get back and do the Post Processing on the computer? Thank you in advance ...

Click on the Show button in the upper right of the screen in ibike2 and make sure that Heart rate is not hidden.

Hi All I have the iAero and have been using it for the past few weeks. I use a computer that has 2 operating systems using the dual boot option. Windows vista 64 bit Windows XP sp3. I have been using the ibike 2.0.6 software on the windows 64 bit system and it talks to the iAero fine there. When I t...
