Look at the rides that are dated 3_12_2013. These might be your missing rides.
This is the default date of the last firmware upgrade. You may have accidentally reset the Newton during the rides.

Taking a closer look, it appears the anomalous power reading occurs just after the cal ride, a few seconds into the workout ride. I have the GT key, so P_out is being read by my Garmin Edge 500. When I upload the ride from the Garmin, everything looks great except for one power value.
