We're testing as many Apple products as we can and so far we know this: the older they are, the less capable they are.
Older Apple products will, most definitely, work with the iBike app, but we can't guarantee that you will like their speed/performance.

Re: Advice on Optimizing Battery Life of iAero
We recommend a battery change when voltage at the beginning of a ride is 275 or below. The iBike will provide this warning message automatically.

Re: Some key features of the iBike Dash
The app will be called "iBike".
There are other apps close to our name but not the same (we have the iBike name reserved).
The iDash app belongs to someone else.
We haven't released the app yet...

Re: Ipod touch gen3 Memory?
With an 8GB memory we've estimated that you'll be able to record about 2 million miles of ride files on an iPhone. Since you're not recording GPS data with your iTouch it will be even more.

It's measured continuously. On the Gen III it rotates with Cadence and HR. On the iBike Dash+Power it can be seen continuously as a field.

Re: Continuous CdA?
Continuous CdA and Time Advantage are standard with the iDash+Power, assuming that you have a DFPM. With the iBike Dash cycling computer, an optional key makes it possible to read a DFPM. Note that Continuous CdA is not available on the iBike Dash cycling computer, as there is no iBike power circuit...

You do need an iAero to perform comparisons.
With a DFPM file, use the "Tools/Power Meter Comparison" feature to sync with your PT file.

Re: Are USB drivers compatible with Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
I assume you have correctly installed the Mac USB Adapter software. If so and you're still getting the <-1> message, reinstall the iBike Mac software, MAKING SURE to do the following: a) Launch the iBike Mac 4.0.4 Intel installer. The iBike Mac software will install first. b) Near the end of the iBi...

Re: Temp readings
The iBike reports the temperature inside the case, which can be considerably higher than outdoor temperature, 5C-8C higher than ambient. The higher temperature in the case won't affect power readings. However, if you're seeing really crazy temperatures (50C is about 130F) then that's a good indicati...

There is a speed spike in your ride file at mile 3.6 that is clearly incorrect. This is probably where your iBike got into internal trouble with its counting.
We will check in to this.
