Re: RWS
I think I actually need to redo my calibration ride, even when I *know* I'm riding into a light headwind the dash is reading negative -- it takes a really strong headwind to read positive right now, but I did the cal ride with no handlebar bag and no RWS -- I mostly got the RWS to prevent water from...

Re: RWS
Here you go, I use it to route the wind port around my handlebar bag for touring. The only thing I don't like is that you need to remove the RWS from the Phone Booth to open the booth, which makes battery swaps a pain. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5305/5613762397_e870bed743.jpg iBike RWS Phone Boo...

Re: iDash Update v 1.04 Download/Update Problem
Since it's a free app, you could just make sure you have all your ride data e-mailed to yourself and then uninstall the app from the iPhone and then find it on the app store and install it again...

RWS -- am I doing something wrong?
I got the Remote Wind Sensor for the phone booth w/power on Monday, thanks much.
Question: am I doing something wrong on the installation here, or is it really expected that in order to open the phone booth to swap the battery and install/remove the iPhone you have to remove the RWS?

YES!
Does this handle multitasking a little better as well? I.e. not stopping data logging if I have to call out from the phone?

Re: Battery charger light nearly always green
OK. I've figured this one out with the help of my multimeter and my RC-related Lithium Polymer battery chargers... On the second charger I ordered, where the light has *never* not been green, even with a battery I knew to be basically fully discharged (the iphone was charged from it during half my r...

Re: Single RIde broke down into 6 ride files
My understanding is that cold temperatures can, indeed, cause this - the iBike tries to ensure that no data is lost, so it writes data more frequently when the battery voltage appears low, as happens when even a fresh battery is cold.

Re: Strange wind readings after WET ride
I've been hoping for an RWS anyway since I normally commute & tour with a handlebar bag that wreaks havoc on the standard pitot location.
I just checked the store at ibikesports.com and don't see a dash option for the RWS -- how do I order it?
Thanks!

Strange wind readings after WET ride
Last night I rode home from work in the driving rain, this morning when I set out to go back to work the rain had stopped but the wind was at 20+mph from the NNW, even when I was pedaling as hard + fast as I could into the wind, my ground speed was barely in excess of 6-10mph when I was riding direc...

Battery charger light nearly always green
I bought a second charger for the house (while having another at the office) as well as a bunch of spare batteries in prep for a multi-day ride coming up and that has led to a couple of questions: 1. When I put the iphone into the phone booth with a spare battery and close the door, the iphone immed...

Need another beta tester? I use the iBike daily and frequently need to switch apps during my commute to/from work (usually stopping to do it so I'd definitely exercise the new stuff well!

Update sensor scan without recalibrating bike & tilt?
Is there a way to update the sensor scan (I just got a Garmin premium HR belt) without going through the whole bike setup/tilt cal/cal ride again? I just got time to do the cal ride today after using the iBike Dash (I love it!) for the past several weeks and I don't want to lose the calibration data...

Re: Using gloves
I've tried a bunch of different gloves that support touchscreen use, particularly on the bike, though, I find that none of the gloves that have built-in touchscreen support are gloves that I like for cycling (not enough padding in the right places). These little add-on devices are *ideal*: http://ww...

Phone call strangeness
Today while commuting in to work, I had to join a call about 2 miles from the office. I initiated the call from my bluetooth headset, the phone app took over, I rode about .25 miles while things connected and so forth, then I stopped to participate in the call for about 15 minutes. Went back to iBik...

Re: iBike Dash Feature Request
Follow route would be awesome -- the best part of google maps is that they have bike routes on the maps and they are capable of doing a routing that's bike-aware, something better than Garmin can do -- but I agree, maps need to be cacheable or store at least a state or three of data on the device. C...

iBike Dash+power and WKO+
How does one get rides into WKO+ from the iBike dash+power? I successfully loaded a ride that iBike software had re-saved as a .csv file, but it went into a random open file instead of a ride under my name, and I hate to think that every ride I have to first open in iBike, save, and then load into W...
