Re: Multiple Profiles multiple bikes
I am attempting to use the same bike ( same Speed and Cad sensors) with different wheel dia, weight and a minor change to the Aero and CdA and expected that I would have the ability to select either P1 or P2 manually once the Newton picked up the sensors on the bike, but it will only default to one ...

Multiple Profiles multiple bikes
I have used 3 different profiles on my 3 bike for some time. The Newton with FW 5.0 automatically selects the correct profile. Recently I converted some of my wheel sets from 23mm to 25mm circ. and have attempted to set up an alternative profile for my race bike, with 23mm tubs as 1 profile and 25mm...

Repeat Profile following Stem change
I have run my Newton on two similar bikes for 18 months or so and have been reasonably happy with the profiles. Recently I went through a bike fit , following a ski injury, and will now need a slight change to my stem angle (the only significant change was a 2 deg increase in rise, same bars) Is it ...

Saving Ride Files
For the last 18 months or so, I have saved my iBike ride files by exporting as CSV files, rather than IBR files. My reasoning was that I like to retain all ride files so that they are accessable by the iBike SW, previously GEN3 and now ISSAC, AND transfer all ride files to Training Peaks at the time...

Re: Drafting
Thanks for the feedback. It may be that my profiles (2 bikes) are not perfect, but I feel that at times the power readings are just too low on a ride I frequetly repeat and on downloading I see the question re drafting. Knowing that there was no drafting and that I did an out and back ride. I fix it...

Drafting
I have noticed during ride downloads the "% drafting" check has become too frequent, following out and back rides, when I am alone. This can be corrected through the SW with the resulting significant increases for AP, NP, IF, TSS. Following that I have monitored several Group rides, when a...

Re: iBike not responding to download
Have completed a hard reset, and then reset time and date. BUT the result is just the same, there appears to be no connection between the SW and the Newton. I then went through the device connect tab to check on any connection between SW and the Newton, this subsequently directed me to rescan and th...

iBike not responding to download
I have a new issue with downloading from my Newton to the PC, and received the dreaded "ibike unit not responding." It has not shown any issues in the previous 4 months. I had my first wet ride today, but no signs of the aero port blockage, the tab over the USB connector on the Newton rema...

Re: Cal Ride and Coast Downs
John, I don't quite understand. I completed 4 calibration rides, 2 in the drops and 2 on the hoods, and then ran a serries od 10 coastdowns in both positions, a total of 20. My issue was in getting the data into the software for analysis. There is not access to Setup/Download Coastdowns in my Isaac ...

Cal Ride and Coast Downs
I finally managed to complete a set of Calibration rides, 2 in the Drops and 2 on the Hoods. The Calib rides are reasonably similar and not too dissimilar from my iAero on the same bike. I have downloaded the Calib rides and coastdowns as both ibr and csv files, but I'm struggling to work out how to...

Cross Fin for Newton
I just unpacked my Newton, along with an additional dual mount and universal mount for the TT bike as well as the RMS. There is no evidence of the Cross Fin of which I was sure would improve results on windy days and in the bunch. Please advise on results with and without the cross fin and I hope Ve...

Re: Isaac SW failed to load
I finally worked it out. I actually do not know why it did not automatically load and run, but on un-installing all remaining and new downloads and starting again - all is good. Now I just need my Newton to arrive and then I will have my hands full in setting up all bikes.
Many Thanks

Isaac SW failed to load
On updating from version 6.1.2 to Issac 7.1.2 all seemed to be going well until it got to the start to install, where the Installation Summary "to be reviewed" listed "No SW will be installed or removed" and at the bottom of the screen the only options were "Save file, "...

Isaac and IBike SW
I have recently ordered a Newton and would like to continue to use my iAero on my MTB and possibly for wet training rides on the road. It appears that for Mac users this may be possible, but what for Windows users. Could I actually load the Isaac SW onto my Windows 7 based PC, along with the GenIII ...

Centre Button not responding
:( I have used my iAero quite sucessfully on 4 bikes, including a TT bike and a MTB. Today the centre button appeared fail. The 4 others, Total Avg-Max, Enviro and Hill-Wind seem to be perfectly alright. I removed the battery and performed a hard reset (a couple of times) without success. I complete...

WLS Fail
I have run an iAero on 3 different bikes since late 2010. Recently I replaced a wireless transmitter after the strap broke. After 3 months use the replacement failed, while the other 2 remain scanning perfectly. The symptom is the "WLS Fail". Initially I replaced the batteries on the iAero...

Re: Software updates
This first occurred 2 months ago and the situation has not changed. I have just not bothered to find the fault and continue to use 6.0.0. The PC error message states "either the server is not available right now, or your computer is not connected to the internet". I can set up the portable...

Software updates
I have 6.0.0 on my PC and 6.1.0 on my laptop and for some reason the ibike SW appears to find the PC "not connected to the internet" and hence I am unable to update my SW, HW etc. Could you please advise on a fix or another way of acessing the updates through the iBike site. Thanks in adva...

Re: iAero shutting off while waiting for race start
Thanks for the reply. I have updated to 4.26, and replaced all batteries. I have also checked the 20 minute time period several times. It is now perfect.
Thanks.
Thanks.

iAero shutting off while waiting for race start
I have been using an iAero for 15 months and successfully use it on 4 bikes, including a TT bike and a MTB. I find that I need to run a scan every time I change bikes, but it will recognise the sensors if used on the same bike in sucession. I assume that this is normal. Recently I have an issue with...
