GPS Capture Problem with Newton Tracker - Solved
I've had problems with the iPhone Newton Tracker App failing to capture GPS data, only capturing start and end points, and the occasional in between point(s) if I stopped to see if it was working. At the end of the ride, only a mile or so distance traveled was reported, and the map looked like I was...

Re: Rubber seal
If you want the security of the rubber seal while you're riding, try this: Use a nail clipper with flat (rather than curved) blades to snip off the little stub-tab on the seal. This is the part that interferes with the mount channel. Of course, it'll now be a bit trickier to pop open when you want t...

Newton Cal Ride: bad cal...bad cal...bad cal...
I have not been able to achieve a good cal ride with my Newton - four attempts have resulted in four "bad cals". My setup is a Newton mounted on the handlebar with the dual-mount. I performed two "2 mile" cal rides on one day, on a mostly straight, flat road with low winds and no...

Re: iSport Power Oscillates on the Flats
I did monitor the relative wind speed (bike speed + wind speed), and it was showing numbers close to the bike speed (as seen on my Garmin), which was consistent with the low to no wind conditions. Would it be helpful to reconfigure the iSport to monitor the absolute wind speed?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: iSport Power Oscillates on the Flats
Thank you for the quick reply. I went out for a ride today that was mostly climbing (3100 ft. in 12 miles), but rode some flats/rollers to get there and back. I noticed that the oscillations were still occurring, though not consistently. During one period, though, I was going along and noticed that ...

iSport Power Oscillates on the Flats
I have noticed consistently unreliable readings on my new iSport. After a bit of trial and error to get a correct Cal Ride, good tilt and Wind Cal, when I rode on flat or low-slope roads over the next couple of hours, the power would slowly go from high (sometimes 400W) down to zero (clipped, perhap...
