Re: Firmware 5.13 with dynamic Crr is available!
Yes, I saw this when I plugged my 6 in after my commute home. I am most curious if this will change how us MTBers setup our profiles.

Yes, you want your Garmin file in .gpx format. I have never got a .tcx file to merge.

Re: Windows 10 compatibility
If I recall I had to do the same thing on my SurfaceBook. After that all seems to be fine. I am trying to get the hang of using the cloud to store files, as I use my desktop when I'm home, and the SurfaceBook when I'm at my GF's.

Re: Conquer mag trainer profile?
Well the generic mag setting didn't seem right at all. Let me add that I got the trainer that comes with what is basically a 7spd thumb shifter to increase and decrease resistance. Since it is of little use in my case I took it off before even using the trainer. I has a fair bit of resistance off th...

Thank you.

Re: Trainer Tire Size
I am in the same situation, 25c on the road, 23c on the trainer. So how has just ignoring the tire size difference worked out? Another question is, in the places I live and have lived, getting a clean run at an ftp test is nearly impossible. Doing it on a trainer seems like a no brainer. But from wh...

FPT on Zwift
After years of using Gen III iSport, I have a Newton with all the bells and whistles. Well, minus the new body, but still. Now I can use my iBike with a trainer. And after having mild success finding a road long enough, flat enough, and void enough of traffic, I recently realized I can use a trainer...

Re: 35mm bar, solutions?
Is you're handlebar a 35mm or 31.8? As far as I can tell they still don't have a 35mm option, but that page is of no help when it comes to the diameter, which is shocking. Why would you have things that mount on handlebars and not have the diameter they fit?

Re: Merging data from MS Band
Yeah, so I just finished uploading and merging the file. Now the GPS tracks look beautiful on MS Health, MMR, and Strava. When I finish a ride, it gets uploaded to all 3 automatically. But, I have to download the .gpx file from Strava to merge it in Issac. Again, having Newton Tracker as a connected...

Re: Merging data from MS Band
That sounds kinda cool actually. I am one of the less than 3% in the US using a Windows phone. I love it, but there are limitations merely due to the small user base. Anyway, I just got the new Band 2. My original band was one I got used off eBay, that was actually too big. Getting the charging cord...

Re: 35mm bar, solutions?
I thought that was a good enough idea that I went and checked. Nope. I have a dual mount, and just gave a look at putting it on. A dry fit to my alum bar worked great. I put new doublesided tape on, and got too greedy with tightening the bolts, and cracked the bottom clamp. I'm fixing that with supe...

I am being very one eyed and selfish here but, I really am enjoying my Microsoft Band, for a few reasons, but most cycling related ones involve not having to edit .gpx files to get them to sync, and not having to wear a chest strap any more. However, I was wondering if you folks could make a Newton ...

Building up a new MTB, and it came with the new 35mm handlebar and stem. Nothing I have will fit which is to be expected, but not even on the stem. Has anyone come up with a solution?

Merging data from MS Band
I got a MS Band a few months back, but as I am gone for work for over a month at a time I hadn't been able to work out how to get the HR and GPS data to merge in Issac. You can download a .csv file from the MS health website (which actually gives you some interesting information not found anywhere e...

I didn't think my tone was that out of line, but every time I have ordered something from these folks its taken an exceptionally long time to receive it. Editing worked on the first ride as well. Not sure why but deleting the first short little GPS segment, maybe while I was standing around waiting on my buddy, and Isaac did it's thing.

Re: Another GPX merge thread, and first ride with Newton
Ah ha! I had a rogue data point throwing everything off (apparently I went 800 mph!). I downloaded this: http://download.cnet.com/GPX-Editor/3055-2383_4-10913774.html?tag=pdl-redir, loaded the .gpx file, picked the segment, selected it by right clicking on it, click the "point list" view a...

Feature request: tire sizes
MTB tire sizes. I've been running 26X 2.25 for a long time. I sell a lot of these sizes, so I don't get why there is a 2.125 (who sells those any more?) and not a 2.25 in the tire size menu. I also just bought a 27.5" bike. Actually, that's pretty much all the shop has sold over the last year w...

Another GPX merge thread, and first ride with Newton
Hello all, So I finally got to use my new Newton I bought months ago (I'm out to sea for 5 weeks, then home for 5). So, as I just recently finished all of my build projects (until my new GT came in that is), including two new sets of wheels, I haven't got the sensors set up on any of the bikes accep...

If you can't don't have access to the setup mode (hold the up arrow for a couple of seconds) then you can't change profiles.

Re: Using Newton on a Touring Bike
Either way I won't be able to play with things for a while. I am leaving for my main job (5 weeks out to sea) Monday morning and left my unused Newton with my bike shop boss today, and a message to the local road club's president that they can try my Newton out while I am gone. But please don't let ...
