Re: PC runs out of memory in analysing files
Sometimes that out of memory error is misleading and the root problem is something other than memory; however, in this case since the ride is so long perhaps it is an accurate error message for your computer. You might try freeing up memory by rebooting, quitting other running applications including...

Re: iOS App, NewtonTrack, Connection issues
Hi, It's been relatively problem free using the iOS NT app, but I've encountered a situation where the GPS data for a ride I did earlier this week just couldn't upload and kept returned the "Failed sending Ride data (Ride upload timed out. Try again later.)" error message. The subsequent ...

There is already a way to do that using lap markers. Do this: * Zoom into the starting position, click on the graph to place the yellow vertical cursor, then right-click (command-click on Mac) and select "Mark Lap at Cursor" * Repeat the process for the ending position * Now all you have t...

Re: Isaac not finding correct GPS data file
Hi Lorraine,
I checked the server and the latest ride it has for you is for 12/31. It looks like the server had some intermittent Internet outages yesterday morning. Please try uploading the ride from 1/1 again.

Re: upload failure android app
Hi Travis, another question on Tracker, if you are unable to upload a file because you do not have either cell or wifi connections, do the files stay put on the phone until you get a chance to up load? As well I assume the amount of data that can be stored is dependant on phone memory capacity. I a...

Re: upload failure android app
Did you try again to send the data from your Android phone to the server? Please try this if you haven't yet: * Open the NT app on your Android and make sure you are logged into the NT server * Start a ride in the NT app (it is fine if you are not actually riding) and then stop it. When you stop the...

Re: Discrepancy between Isaac & exported csv Max power
Last year we changed Isaac's plots to show 5 second smoothing by default, and for a period of time we continued to show the 1 second max power in the stats. Since there was some confusion why the stats didn't match the plots, we made the decision to change the stats to use the graph's 5 sec setting....

Hi, if I send the the GPS file to GE, using the blue GE button, the also installed base camp appears on the screen but GE sleeps. Hi Jay,
Thanks for the alert--a couple of other customers have had trouble also. I'm looking into the issue with urgency. I might email you later to have you try to upload again to test a fix.

You nailed it. Thanks so much. I went under settings then chose the mobile phone heading. I registered my cell phone then FB displayed my "post by email address". I then typed it into my Isaac's facebook posting address link. Thanks again for your help. Ah, good! I didn't realize that the...

Tex, was the error repeatable? If you happen to still have the ride files in your Newton, could you reboot your computer and try downloading all rides again.

Re: How to post ride to facebook
Due to several reasons, the method for posting ride files to Facebook happens via email behind the scenes. The procedure involves finding your unique post-by-email address that Facebook assigns to your account and entering it in Isaac. This is not to be confused with your facebook email address, whi...

Sounds like something is wrong because once you answer the cadence sensor question, the result is written to your your Newton. Re: analysing cal ride data?
Mr. Velocomp is traveling and asked me to address you questions. So is it that if I want a new cal ride I must use a profile that is set to factory presets first? That is not necessary--it is fine to do a cal ride with an existing profile. In that case, the cal ride will update some parameters (incl...

If you want to see the details of one of the plots, you can drag the horizontal border between the plot areas in order to make the one of interest larger. When you are done, click the "Fit Plots" button in the top-right corner to restore the plot sizes. As far as seeing the data values, yo...

If I change the Show x-axis from Time to Dist, on next load of Isaac 2.0.0 it reverts back to "Time". Prior versions remembered the x-axis preference. Yep, found the bug that causes this and will fix it soon. It is the same issue with metric units reverting to english, which will be fixed...

Yes, PowerStroke is required. The data used to detect out-of-saddle is only recorded in the PowerStroke ride files.texmurphy wrote:My question was about Out of Saddle - does that require PowerStroke since I don't see it, even when doing extended Out of Saddle?

Re: Aero display on bike?
I guess the slightly high Crr may contribute a bit to the rise as well, or do I have that reversed? No, I think you have it right. If the entered Crr is too low for the actual riding conditions, then that would cause CdA to over-report. Adjust your Crr up for the Gatorskins and you should see a mor...

Yep, we have a bug to fix that I will work on. I looked at the code and saw that when you repair the time, it only affects the start time as you say. However, there is a way that you could have avoided the problem. If you include the timestamps from the GPS, you would have the correct times. Just ch...
