Re: Calibration Check on a new Bike

For powerpod models, once you see the flashing green and red, you ride to the place where you want to begin your calibration ride. Once there, you click the button one time to start the calibration. The light will flash yellow during your ride from 0 to 50. At the 50 mark it will go to solid red, yo...

Re: Calibration Check on a new Bike

yes, i purchased the $65 upgrade to the V4 PPL does not require "click button" to start calibration step; a regular PP does. Apparently our upgrade key does not change this functionality as it should; we will fix this in the next FW upgrade. In the mean time, if you load the profile from ...

Re: Calibration Check on a new Bike

The instructions do not tell you to push the button at the turnaround point. If you do that you'll restart the calibration ride.

At the turnaround point you stop, turn around, and ride back. You don't push any buttons.

Re: Calibration Check on a new Bike

Your ride file shows that your unit did not complete a calibration ride. Please check the instructions to learn how a cal ride is done. In the mean time, I have used your 20 mile ride to correct your ride file and create a profile. You should be able to load this profile into your device and get goo...

Re: Calibration Check on a new Bike

The problem is that you changed your mounting angle between the original cal ride and this ride.

Please post the original, "unrepaired" ride file, and I will fix things for you.

The error message is in Italian so I can't translate.

From what I can guess, it appears that you are using the Newton Tracker app and that the GPS files associated with your rides can't be found.

If you're purchasing, go for the $269 price!

If you're trading in, the trade-in price is based on $289 (but you'll get a 30% discount).

Re: Same profile in different Powerpod

1. You can transfer over the profile from your old PP to your new PP, but you will need to do a new sensor pairing and cal ride

2. After you get your new PP please send us its serial number and we will provide you unlock keys for your features

Re: New Isaac/Mac Users: how to install version 5.1 for Big Sur, Catalina, and earlier macOS

Not that we will know for awhile, but I wonder whether the changes that zapped Isaac from 11.3 to 11.4 will be fixed in 11.5 or the upcoming new Mac OS. In the meantime, lucky I still have my old Mac with an OS 10.x OS. Sadly, I would not count on it. Apple continues to tighten the screws on its OS...

Re: Nuovo AeroPod

The big problem here is that you don't have a DFPM paired to AeroPod. You can't get CdA measurements unless you have a DFPM paired to your AP. Turn off AP by clicking its button 5 times in succession. You'll see solid Green/Yellow/Red, then off. Fully charged battery should go for about 27 hours rid...

Re: Powerhouse and 29er

If your original profile has the correct information, select it again and use it to do a new cal ride. What is the tire circumference in mm it is you are trying to set? In the PH app, select a tire that is closest to your desired size. The difference will probably be within 1%. For example, if the t...

You can use your existing profile and do a new cal ride, by re-pairing your sensors to your PP. The circumference/weight/etc settings will be unchanged.

Aero and Fric values are based on measurements; in particular, Aero will be related to where the unit is mounted on the bike.

You are OK; these numbers can be very different from bike to bike.

Morning, Has anyone managed to install Issac on a M1 Mac machine? Thanks, Serban Unfortunately, the "Rosetta" translator made by Apple to convert Intel programs (such as Isaac drivers made by National Instruments) to M1 does not work properly. This is an Apple defect, not ours; Apple brag...

Re: The Newton looks strong

At the 35 minute mark, either your mount changes angle or you are riding in a really bumpy patch of road.

Make sure your mount is solidly attached and can't rotate.

Also: your Newton is 9 years old. We've improved a lot since then and it's possible your unit is past its best days.

PowerPod automatically compensates for drafting.

Question: in your cal ride, or in the ride file you posted in this thread, were you doing any drafting?

Your wind calibration was off, likely due to the windy conditions of your cal ride.

I corrected your ride file and profile, attached.

Is your total bike/rider weight of 136 pounds correct?

So i expect that the powermeter i use to have a Mac version, or at least an iOS and Android version for doing the same... that i understand that it is not very easy because Isaac is very powerful.. You can use this workaround: http://www...
