Re: Turning it oFF?

AeroPod will turn itself off automatically whenever the speed sensor is inactive for 20 minutes.

You can also turn AP off manually by clicking its button 5 times in succession. You will see solid green, then yellow, then red, then off. AP is "asleep".

Re: TT bike mounting

Thanks for your feedback. The one thing we have learned through the years is that, no matter how we design a mount, there will be situations where the mount won't work. We will add additional product information to our website regarding the TT mount. An easy workaround, if your bolts are too big to ...

Re: Aeropod in Velodrome

A major purpose of the calibration ride is to get the wind sensor readings correct. When riding outdoors, during the cal ride the ground wind will be in one direction when riding "out", and the wind will be in exactly the opposite direction when riding "back". This is why it's important to turn arou...

Re: Question about calibration ride?

In AeroPod, a "Best Accuracy" calibration is initiated, no matter what is selected in Isaac.

Also, a calibration ride is forced whenever a sensor pairing is done.

These items are covered in the instructions.

Re: Question about calibration ride?

If your calibration route has a lot of sharp turns, such as you might have in a parking lot, that is not good.

I have a 1.1 mile loop where I do calibrations. Gentle turns. That is fine.

Re: First impressions

I have a Shimano cm1000 camera. It communicates the mode using combination of different colour LEDs. I don’t think I will ever understand it. I don’t ever change the mode and it just sits on 720p at 60fps. The one thing I would do differently is the selection of LEDs. 5% of the male population is c...

Definitely not reasonably level, probably more than 10, but maybe less than 20 degrees.

What would be really awesome would be an app driven calibration- click icon to pair, click to start etc with display on Garmin.

Is that possible? I guess there is 2-way BT with the Powerhouse app
Apps are not easy...but we could do a video that you would watch on your smartphone...

Re: Mounting difficulty

The benefit of having AP point slightly down is that, if you ride in the rain, water will have a really tough time climbing uphill into the unit.

You can point AP slightly upwards, but do NOT point it higher than 20 degrees. If you do you will run into calibration problems.

Re: Calibrating Aeropod

Pair your Garmin to read AP power.

AP rebroadcasts your DFPM power, except during calibration, where AP reports the calibration status.

Sorry to hop into this thread, similar question, may as well group them. For an OUTDOOR velodrome, where I've booked out the whole track, and there is some wind, is it best to do the calibration protocol with the turnaround? Many thanks in advance Russell If you're riding in an outdoor velodrome, t...

Had the same problem. Nothing I had from my "spare" parts worked; the clamp was too big. Went to a hardware store thinking an "O" ring might work .... nope. The gentleman at the hardware store suggested the auto parts store. What the heck ... gave it a shot. At the parts store I discussed my proble...

Re: pairing multiple bikes and 1 computer (Garmin 520)

I'd like to help you with your Garmin settings but I really think this is a Garmin question. I don't have detailed knowledge of how their pairing system works... After creating your second bike profile in Isaac (for example, in profile 2), you will need to do a PP sensor pairing for your second bike...

Re: Aeropod in Velodrome

You will be able to calibrate your AeroPod in a Velodrome, because there isn't any ground wind... 1) Ride to the 50W mark; AP will show solid red 2) Slow to a stop. Light will flash yellow again 3) Continue riding in the same direction, until you reach 100W Note that you will need to do this such th...

Yes, that will work 1) Select the profile you want to move in Edit/Edit Profiles 2) Connect AP to Isaac 3) Use the "set active profile in device" to where you want to move the profile. 4) Click the "Send to Device" button 5) Do a new sensor pairing on AP. This will force it into O&B calibration You'...

Re: TT bike mounting

This will not work. 1) Aerobars flex; this causes severe problems with CdA measurements. 2) You AP is pointed too high. This too will cause problems. The flat surface on the AP allows AP to be mounted at a consistent angle. It is intentional that AP has limited rotational capability. I think you hav...

No, this is not a "Lite" model. It is an early-production version of PowerPod BLE. The early production units were not configured to receive messages from the app. Unfortunately, this is not a limitation that can be changed.

Your PP was manufactured on Jan 24 2017.

It will transmit data in BLE format, but it cannot "receive" BLE commands from our PowerHouse app.
