Re: leaking RWS plug-in
New calibration ride, and new coast down rides, with plug that seals properly. Then did 2 x 20min TT intervals, using "old" profile (ie calculated with leaking plug) whilst riding. Changed to new profile at home --> NP increased from 207 to 243. Power variance much more stable. Rider much ...

Re: leaking RWS plug-in
Thanks John. And I assume that with low recorded wind speed, the calculated power is lower, hence my low numbers?
I'll put on the new plug, recalibrate (which I can do on Tuesday morning), and hope for resolution!

leaking RWS plug-in
For a long time I've consistently obtained much lower numbers when using my iBike on my TT bike with RWS in contrast to on the road bike. On the TT bike, the iBike and RWS are all mounted on the aero bar - see photo (red elastic band to keep RWS plugged into iBike). RWS does not get in the way of my...

Re: iBike 4 Software+Pairing Sensors
I had a similar problem, but am not sure whether it arose from iBike 4 or from a new profile. After assistance from Velocomp, I resolved it by consciously re-pairing the sensors with the profile. My cadence/speed sensor is a Garmin, so I pushed the button on it, rotated the cranks etc, the light tur...

Re: Pairing issue
I have the same issue. Each time the iBike Pro goes to sleep, it loses pairing, and I have to rescan. Very tedious. Am I doing something wrong? Its battery is good (currently 285). I use FW 4.17. The stem mount and cadence each have new batteries too.

Re: profile numbers - appropriate ranges?
Dear Tom and Boyd Thank you for your confirmation that all seems pretty good with my calibrations. I will double check the sturdiness of the mount on the TT bike. To overcome the current discrepancy between its 2 fric results, i"ll do a further Cal ride and hope that its fric result is close to...

Re: profile numbers - appropriate ranges?
Thanks for your interim reply I've aded the wind scaling numbers to thte figures, so that all the figures are as follows: For my road bike: aero: 0.281/0.271; fric 6.890/6.165; CdA 0.329/0.330; crr 0.0055/0.0055, wind scaling 0.854 / 0.820 For the TT aero: 0.206/0.214; fric 9.067/6.890; CdA 0.227/0....

profile numbers - appropriate ranges?
I would be grateful for comments with respect to the profile numbers. I suspect I don't need to know what they all mean, but I understand it is important to have them correct. But I wouldn't know if they are. Is it possible to have an appropriate range for the various figures? For example, for my ro...

Re: Where are NP, IF, TSS in iBike Pro?
Dear Wellmt. Thank you for your quick reply - that was easy! I just had not noticed the FTP screen (or else had become confused due to its reference to CFG, which I should have relasised was an obviously necessary inclusion).

Where are NP, IF, TSS in iBike Pro?
I understand that release 3.08 enables me to see NP, IF, TSS on the iBike Pro III unit itself. I gather that this is at the end of a ride, but that's a lot better than having to wait to get home to the computer first. I might be a bit slow with technology, but can someone advise me where you see NP,...

THanks - I'll try a hard reset and hope that resolves this issue. I appreciate your assistance.

Re: WLS Fail
Me too! I use an iPro Gen III G. The wheels fail for no apparent reason. I usually fix it by going to Setup, Wheels config etc. However, this morning even that would not resolve the problem. It's very frustrating, and precludes the iBike from working at all. HELP Please !!

Re: High vibration power spikes... anyone else?
When I get a speed spike, it is invariably simultaneous with a power spike, but speed spikes occur much less frequently (ie I get power spikes on their own!). I'm not bothered by the spikes - the whole system is too good generally to worry about some peripheral issues which are easily removed.

Re: High vibration power spikes... anyone else?
I get high power spikes on about 1/2 my rides, and high speed spikes on about 1/5th of the rides (I do not believe that I can ride at 320km/hr!). I have not investigated their cause. I just delete them through the Excel worksheet (I check their time on the graph page and then go to the Exel page and...
