Do you need to see what tha garmin is reading?
If you are using it to just "map my ride" Flip it upside down. You will not be ablr to see it but it will still do its thing and you acn still down load the info when you are done.

Re: Would this set-up intefere with air port readings?
What if you fliped the mount and changed sides?
Would that let you get the angle right to place it in the lower position?
It must have a arching bend in it that I can not tell from the photo. With my ergomo I built my own mount with a seat post clamp an some reflector pieces.

Re: Would this set-up intefere with air port readings?
Try going to the same place, but at the bottom of the faceplate. You would be rotating the arm from 4oclock to almost 6. I hope this makes since. This will effect ease of button access on the garmin. But you should be able to see it and the wind flow would be much smoother.

Re: Would this set-up intefere with air port readings?
I do not think so. You could rotate the arm down a few degrees. This would lower the garmin and allow for cleaner aire flow to the IBIKE. I would also coast down and cal ride with the garmin in place for the best readings.

Re: Wireless sensors and the cold
I have gotten better results from my batteries.
The key I think is that I keep my batteries inside in the warm part of my house 72 deg. when I am done riding. I also keep my batteries in the fridge when they are new in the package. I have only gone through 5 this winter.

I do not know where it is posted. I can tell you I road with an ergomo and an Ibike this year they went blow for blow with each other. I also know riders on teh team used SRM along side the Ibike and found the same thing. The guy that set us up at camp had a power tap an ergmo and a garmin with his ...

I noticed larger charges. I also notices some small pet hair on my roller standing on end. Then other times nothing. You may try a humidifer od de-humidifer mostiure in the air effects static charge.

Re: Weird Heart Rate Data (a.k.a Is There A Doctor In The House?
The cause may be your rollers. I have a couple sets of rollers. They both produce static. You could be building a small charge every 10 minutes or so. I could be so small you do not notice the discharge as a shock. Your equipment is much more intune to these changes. Try changing trainers for a ride...

I have used mine on my track bike with no problems, that I have noticed. I set it up on my road bike and then just transfered it over and away I went.
