Zero Torque With Ibike
How do I zero torque on a powertap g3 hub using the iBike Newton? I have searched the forum but did not find any instructions on how to do this with the Newton. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Attaching Magnet on Rear Disc for TT
Thanks for the ideas. I am hesitant about putting super glue on an expensive carbon fiber wheel but using rubber cement sounds like a good alternative. I have some rare earth magnets and I am hoping that they are going to allow more "wiggle room" as far as the placement of the receiver. Th...

Attaching Magnet on Rear Disc for TT
I have a rear disc wheel that I use in TTs and would like to know how I can attach a magnet to it so I can use my new Newton for TT races. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: At long last, the iBike Newton!
I have an old wired mount and would like to know what else I need to have the new Newton work on my current setup. I am guessing that I will need some sort of wireless sensor that will transmit the data to the Newton. Is that correct? If so, could you tell which sensor package I need?
Thanks!

Re: iBike needs wind cal during ride?
I have also started to have problems with the wind calibration recently on my Gen III ibike. I upgraded to a Gen III in August and it was giving me credible readings until the past two or three weeks. During a ride the unit will start reading either a massive headwind or tailwind. I have attached a ...

TT Bike Profile Numbers; Are They Acceptable?
I did a profile for a new TT bike and I wanted to know if the numbers are acceptable. Aero .570 Wind Scaling 2.361 CdA .241 Fric 6.532 Riding Tilt -.4 Crr .0044 Cal Weight 174 I was not wearing my TT helmet, wheels, or skin suit since I wanted to use this profile for training. Re: Indications of Bad Profile/Training Zones
As always, I would like to express my gratitude to people responding to my post. To answer Racerfern's question, this is not exactly an out and back ride. I rode to a location where I do some hill intervals on a particular hill but I did not take the exact route back home as I did to the hill. To an...

Indications of Bad Profile/Training Zones
Are there universal signs that might indicate that you have a bad profile? The reason I ask is the discrepancy between avg. watts after I do detailed analysis. The "raw" data indicates I am averaging 236 watts during an interval, where the post analysis indicates I am averaging 221 watts. ...

Re: HUGE Discrepancy in Avg. Watts
My riding tilt % from the profile is -0.173 and from what you said it sounds like this could be good data. I have the Ibike unit mounted beneath the TT bars so it can get a good shot at "clean" air. Concerning coast-downs, if I did future wind offsets and tilt calibrations in a controlled ...

Re: HUGE Discrepancy in Avg. Watts
Thanks for the reply Fernando! Before the correction the green line in the advanced sreen is sloping downward at around a 30 degree angle. To correct this problem should I do a tilt calibration or do I need to re-do the coast downs and 4 mile ride also?

HUGE Discrepancy in Avg. Watts
I did an individual TT in Philly today and I am not sure about the data that I got. The "raw" data said that my avg. watts were 247, the Auto analyze 307 and the Analyze Tilt/Power 338! Which one is the most accurate? Any coments, suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
