Tried rebooting the iPhone. Newton Tracker is apparently working now as are other apps. Not sure what happened.

Newton Tracker Freeze
The Newton Tracker app on my iPhone would not start my ride today. It worked last week. Here are the particulars... iPhone 5, IOS 7.3 (upgraded between rides) The app starts and allows you to move between screens, shows the last ride, allows selection of ride type, allows adding a bike, allows you t...

Re: Isaac 2.1.4
Never mind. I had the firewall set to on in System Preferences (Mac OS X). Turned it off and got 2.1.5.

Isaac 2.1.4
Tried to upgrade to 2.1.4 today and got a corrupted file message. Repeated the process three times with the same message. Also got a firmware update notice to 4.05 which was successful.
I reinstalled 2.1.3 for now. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: This hasn't happened before
I had a couple of more rides since the initial problem without incident. I'm riding with about 1500 others Saturday so I'll wait for final report till then.

Re: This hasn't happened before
I did a hard reset (all the buttons) each time it froze. I plan to ride tomorrow to check if the problem is still there.

Re: This hasn't happened before
Well, the first freeze was in a bunch but the others were well away from others. After the reset and the "Data Setup" message, the next message was the speed sensor found followed by the HR found.

This hasn't happened before
I had a problem with my Newton+ today (Saturday 5/25) and wondered if this has happened to anyone else. Here's the info. I rode Thursday (5/23), downloaded the ride file and update my firmware and software. (Issac 2.1.1, firmware 4.01) Started a 100K ride this morning, turned the Newton on, everythi...

Starting New Ride - something broke?
I thought I know how this worked... As with my Gen III when I finish a ride I go to the battery screen and hit enter. Next time I ride it's a new ride file. I rode yesterday (after the latest firmware) and did the same thing. This morning when I started my ride the Newton picked up where I left off ...

Any clue why the yellow appears on my printout (pdf attached)? It started several releases ago.

Re: Where to get latest version of iBike Software
Sorry for the confusion. I was trying to get my iPro working on another bike and I finally plugged the USB adapter in (I hadn't done it since I got my Dash). All the items on the device menu are grayed out. I suspect that my USB adapter has died for some reason. I'm still trying to get it working. T...

Thanks for the replies. I have a high stem angle so the water gets in the port rather quickly. I was planning on using the baggie trick this weekend. I'll post a reply on how it goes.

Rain & the Wind Port
Although I've got a remote wind sensor (mainly for rides in the rain for me), I don't use it most of the time. With all the recent off and on rain in my area, I was wondering the effect on the iBike if the wind sensor was covered for a portion of a ride. The scenario is that I start a ride not expec...

I'm also interested in determining the details for an indoor spin bike. My ibike was a gift from my wife and when she bought it she was led to believe it could be used with the indoor bike so the trainer feature was included with the gift. We have a Startrac NXT spinner with a cadence and HR compute...

Ok, my remote wind sensor is on order but I rode today in a downpour. There's no way I did the 3990 watts that was shown on the iPro ;) and I didn't have a 102 mph headwind. So, how long does it take to dry the iPro before it'll work properly again and is there any post ride fix that can at least gi...

I experienced a similar problem after installing 3.08. Followed the fix and it worked. I also had the trainer mode on before 3.08 and turned in off after installation.
