Zipp aerodynamic sensors?
In his latest blog post from the Eurobike DCRainmaker mentions that Zipp is planning to use some kind of aerodynamic wireless sensors that send the data to the computer during the ride. See the last paragraphs of the post: http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/09/new-quarq-dzero.html I wonder if the senso...

History: from iBike to Powerpod
Just remembered this old thread from many years ago: it took some time but IMO the powerpod is worth the wait.

Re: Setting up PowerPod on a second bike
i have now done the setup of the PP to my second bike and everything seems to be working fine. However, I still need to do some fine tuning of the profile, for example adjust the weight and tyre diameter details. I will first do the check-calibration and after that change the details. Can I check th...

Speed/cadence sensor upgrade: steps needed
If I upgrade my old Garmin GSC-10 speed/cadence sensor to separate magnetless speed and cadence sensors, what steps of the Powerpod setup I must redo?

Re: Mount iBike upside down under the stem?
When you say right now, does that mean that we could still get this kind of product version in the future?

Re: Mount iBike upside down under the stem?
I wonder what Velocomp and iBike users think about this new device idea: do they find it possible or useful ?

Re: Mount iBike upside down under the stem?
The idea of having a special (screenless) version of the iBike just for the Edge users is great. I think some of the features of the real iBike could even be dropped from the Edge version and the device could perhaps be even smaller than the normal iBike. The Edge could be responsible for collecting...

Re: Multi-sport use
You are right: Suunto, among other brands, is owned by a finnish company Amer Sports.

Re: Multi-sport use
Suunto wristtop computers have several types of speed sensors. One is the traditional bike sensor, another is a gps based sensor. I am using the traditional bike pod in my bike, but do not (yet) have an iBike. My idea is to continue using the Suunto for collecting heart rate, training intensity, etc...

Re: Multi-sport use
It would also be nice if the iBike PC software offered the possibility to upload the heart rate data collected using for instance Polar or Suunto monitor. The two devices could then be used independently during the excercise, but the data could be analyzed in one place afterwards. I guess the new PC...
