Re: We've gone wireless!
Hey John, Thanks for your patience. I have alternated quitting Va and Isaac when I tried to connect, since you told me that before. When I do the Silicon Labs install, which I have done three times now, it shows me that it is installed correctly. Thanks for clarifying that the default comms path for...

Re: We've gone wireless!
John, Isaac says my device is connected, but it does not turn the network symbol green, not respond when I try to download rides. And, even though I quit Isaac, ASV still just endlessly searches for a device. Is there a way to turn off wireless, or force AV to use the USB serial port? Also, I think ...

Re: We've gone wireless!
I deleted and successfully reinstalled the driver. I did a hard restart of my Newton. Then I tried to connect to both AV and Isaac. Isaac said it had connected to my Newton, but it wont recognize my device. AV just endlessly scanned for devices. Obviously, it is set for wireless, but I cannot see ho...

Re: We've gone wireless!
No Joy. Perhaps I didn’t add the driver correctly.

Re: We've gone wireless!
Wireless is a great step forward for those who have a wireless device. However, my Newton obviously is not, and ever since accepting the upgraded Velocomp Aero software, my newton is no longer detected as connected by hardwire. I am using the same connecting wire that I have used for quite some time...

Re: Intel and M1/M2 Mac users: how to install Isaac/Mac on your computer
The Aero software continues to work fine for outdoor rides, but recently we had a few cool, rainy days and I tried to use my set up indoors with Zwift. It went crazy. It started out giving me insanely high power numbers. I logged out of Zwift but continued to ride and over about 10 minutes, those nu...

Re: New Front Mount
Tex, you might try contacting Brian Wadey. He is the guy who made many of the original mounts for newtons. He used to be in the Seattle area. The phone numbers I have for him are (253) 735-6707 and (253) 222–0588.

John,
You, Tom and everyone there are fantastic! I’ll for ever tell everyone I ride with about the virtues of VeloComp and all of your products!
Thanks!
Tex,
Thanks for your information. You are entirely correct, it works fine.
Best to all,
Gary K

Re: Intel and M1/M2 Mac users: how to install Isaac/Mac on your computer
John, Thanks for taking the time to reply! I realize that you no longer support Issac. What I was hoping for is that someone like Mark might have some advice on how to structure another workaround. This is because, unless I’m mistaken, Velocomp Aero does not support ancient Newtons like mine. Is tha...

Re: Intel and M1/M2 Mac users: how to install Isaac/Mac on your computer
Hello all, Earlier, when this became available, I installed it on my M2 MacBook Air running Ventura OS. It worked great! Then, for another software package, I had to upgrade to Sequoia OS. I lost communication between my Newton and Isaac. So, I tried to reinstall. But I got this: Last login: Mon May...
