Re: Powerpod 4 Cracked Casing and Failing Battery
After email correspondence I posted my Powerpod 4 off to Tom at Velcomop USA on the 10th Nov 2023. Tom replaced a cracked case and battery after over 2.5 years of constant use, on three bikes (mountain bike, road bike and indoors on rollers). Posted back to me in the UK on the 8th Dec 2023 and it’s ...

This slightly exposes the innards of the unit and iIm conscious of using it during the winter due to potential wat...

Re: Intel Mac Users: how to install Isaac 5.1 macOS Catalina, Monterey, Big Sur, and earlier
Hi John, I tried as you suggested. erased the files followed by a short ride. Unfortunately even though the powerpod connects to the Isaac software, it won't download the file automatically but eventually does when I perform a manual download. The file appears as shown below even though the powerpod...

Re: Intel Mac Users: how to install Isaac 5.1 macOS Catalina, Monterey, Big Sur, and earlier
Hi John, I recently installed Isaac 5.1 on my Mac after upgrading to ImacOS Monterrey. I followed the installation posted by user “dropsite” to the “letter” and the installation of the drivers and of Isaac 5.1 went smoothly as detailed in the instructions. I previously was running Isaac 5.1 on Imaco...

Re: Powerpod 5
Hi John,
Congratulations on the new powerpod and it's great how you and your team continuously improve the powerpod range of products. I'll stick with my powerpod 4 for now as it serves my needs, but I will be looking forward to the app that hopefully will be compatible with the powerpod 4.

Powerpod 5
Hi John, just looked at the Velocomp website and saw the powerpod 5 being showcased. I bought my powerpod 4 in Aug 2021 and I am very happy with it. However I was wondering what the difference was between the two devices and if it was worth upgrading my device?

Re: PowerPod 4 Upgrade Program - PowerStroke License Transfer?
Hi John, I'm also looking to replace my powerpod that I purchased in Dec 2016 with a Powerpod 4. I live in the UK and I've done over 17000 miles with the powerpod. It is now starting to show signs of failure (battery life, failure to register power etc) even after several factory resets. Over the ye...
