Will the upgrade keys put the PP Lite at pair with the PP V4?, or does the PP V4 has different HW or FW that the PP lite can't reach with the k...

I'm about to purchase an used Powerpod V3 and previous to that I would like to know if it can be upgraded to latest 8.01 fw version, is this possible to apply to any PP V3?
