Re: Struggling with the PowerPod
Hi All, I received excellent technical support and my PP is set up properly now. I appreciate the support I received. So why would one post "solved" without giving the information what exactly helped? I am having exactly the same problem and no clue as how you got help :-( Hopefully you r...

Pitot Tube broken
Hey there How do you guys remove a broken pitot tube from the PP? It broke right above the thread. Gluing e.g. a chopstick to the pitot bit in the PP to be able and wind it out? As I am on vacation right now: What would I expect from the readings now that the pitot tube is gone? Will the PP recalibr...

Re: New AeroPod/PowerPod CdA app for Garmin devices
Turned off the sensor in garmin settings and then back on. Wind and tilt values reappeared. Only the power output suddenly showed zero. On/off did not change anything. Next I forced recal of PP by reconnecting sensors. After that all values showed plausible data. Hope this does not happen to often...

Re: New AeroPod/PowerPod CdA app for Garmin devices
Suddenly the app stopped working. That is the display (2 fields) always shows -1,1% slope and 0 wind no matter what. How would I "reset" app/device?
Garmin Edge 530, PPv4, latest firmware
note: my ride shows wind/slope data in Isaac, only the display on garmin edge wont show data
Cheers

Re: Powerhouse and 29er
Thanks for your answer. This would mean that the rides that are sent from my garmin to Strava (where I accumulate all my data) will give false overall power values (and cannot be corrected easily afterwards). So I will rather not use PP until I can have a proper setup to not destroy what I built up ...

Re: Powerhouse and 29er
Unfortunately I dialed in a new profile (in a new slot) in PH and transferred it to PP. Purpose was to leave slot 2 unchanged. Am I right to assume that there is no possibility to change the profile with PH without overwriting the values that are stored in PP? How come I can choose "29er" ...

Powerhouse and 29er
I am currently on a trip through the Alps with no access to computer with Isaac. My pp somehow got jerkey and I need to dial in a new profile. Now I would take the powerhouse app Dial in some basic. Only there is no drop down for 29er wheels circumference (despite the fact that I can choose a bike p...

Re: List of aprox values?
I would be very grateful for a quick response since I am leaving for my transalp tour tomorrow morning. And I would like to "refine" settings before that. It would be a good opportunity to test the PP´s usabilty on such a long trip... Thanks for your help You have 2 bikes here: one appears...

mounting PP - angle critical?
When unmounting the PP from the handlebars (to charge it) an remounting it I get the impression that the watts shown are ultra sensitive to the angle at which the PP is mounted. I followed your guidance to always get the same position, but due to the not so very rigid plastic parts I cannot get the ...

Re: List of aprox values?
Thanks again for helping. Here are two rides. One with my canyon road bike and one with my specialized enduro (brand names define profile names). As you will see at least one of the profiles must be quite off. I have taken the longer ride (road bike) and did a "change profile after the ride&quo...

Re: List of aprox values?
Thanks for your answer. Please forgive me on insisting in this topic. Thing is that I get really odd values (around 20-30 Watts lower than PP shows on my road bike). And I dont quite understand how PP could know that I have the slowest tire on earth mounted on my "moving brick wall" (from ...

List of aprox values?
Hello there I want to use the PP with my Enduro bike. I did the setup just like with my canyon road race bike (O&B and adjusted settings in Isaac). Now what bothers me is that seemingly the aero of the enduro value is lower than with my road bike?! And the friction also only a tad higher than my...

Re: to dumb to make it work :-(
Addendum: I also have a hard time with isaac showing download ride window over and over again even if there are no rides on PP anymore (since they had been deleted (or should have) when connected the PP for downloading rides). I really spend some time waiting for isaac to do its thinking even though...

to dumb to make it work :-(

PowerPod on enduro bike going rough terrain?

Re: Update FTP After Ride
Hi John Could you please explain why one would want to change ftp manually after a ride? As I understand it ftp is a synthetic benchmark that assumes you performed at (nearly) 100% for ALL the time during the test period. Only in a time trial race I could imagine this to be the case (and only if the...
